Perfectly Imperfect

Inspired by the Estuary

As a ceramic artist, my work is deeply inspired by my love of swimming and the water. I'm especially drawn to the tides, textures, and tranquil rhythm of our local estuary."

The Beauty of Imperfection.

I create ceramics that embody mindfulness, simplicity and a quiet sense of calm; inspired by my time in and around water.

CELADON CRACKLE

Intentional. natural. Unique

As the clay and glaze cool at different rates – the glaze gently splits and crackles, forming a web of fine, delicate lines.

The intricate network of lines reminds me of the dancing patterns of sunlight shifting across the bottom of lakes and pools when I swim.

Please Note

  • Every Vessel is one of a kind
  • The appearance will continue to develop in use
  • This is a defining feature, adding unique character

Thank you for appreciating my handcrafted ceramics

Tactile & Organic Forms

I use wheel throwing, handbuilding, mold making, and the traditional Japanese Kurinuki technique to create organic, tactile forms.

Alongside my functional vessels, I explore mixed media sculptures & themes - creating exhibition pieces that allow me to work freely and experimentally

Exhibitions

Leigh Art Trail — What Remains Hidden.

"WHAT REMAINS HIDDEN"

Past exhibition shown at the Leigh Art Trail in July 2026

Explored the unseen emotional and physical landscapes of the human heart, highlighting the complex traumas and vulnerabilities we so often carried.

Porcelain was chosen as the primary medium for its unique beauty and dual nature: an enduring strength to survive pressure, and an exquisite fragility when exposed to the world.

Each piece stood as a silent monument to the resilient human spirit.
